# Broiler Base Mate

> Broiler Base Mate (by Appcovi) is an Australian farm-management SaaS for commercial broiler-chicken growers. It replaces the paper diary and integrator Excel workbook with live silo-weight tracking, AI docket scanning, real-time FCR / cFCR forecasting, an AI Farm Buddy advisor, automated End-of-Batch (EOB) reporting, and a multi-farm Ops Manager view. Built by Jason Coverdale, a 3rd-generation Aussie broiler grower, for contract growers of Ingham's, Baiada, BPL Adelaide and independents.

The product runs as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — installs to the home screen on iOS and Android, and works on desktop browsers for the heavy Feed Program dashboard. Growers can go from sign-up to their first silo reading in about 5 minutes. Payments are handled via Stripe. Authentication uses Google sign-in (Emergent-managed).
